Young people have been given the opportunity to get involved in sport for free thanks to the club’s community programme.
The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme, the club’s charity arm, have joined forces with Premier League 4 Sport and Sanctuary Housing to deliver Saturday morning sports sessions throughout the summer.
The sessions, aimed at 8-16 year olds, will be delivered by fully-trained coaching staff and will be available in football, tennis and basketball.
The sport sessions will take place every Saturday morning at 10:30-12:00 from 31 May – 30 August at the Concord Park Multi Use Games Area.
One off sessions will also be delivered during the Spring Bank holiday break at 2:00-3:30pm on Tuesday 27 May and Friday 30 May.
