The latest international break has been welcomed by Stuart Gray.
With the treatment room growing in personnel, the break will give the opportunity for Wednesday to clear the decks.
Gray said: “This break has come at the right time.
“We have a few bodies in the treatment room and the break will give us a good time to try and get them out.
“Lewis Buxton should be ready for the next game and also Kamil Zayatte.
“Caolan Lavery has his boots back on which is really encouraging but he is still some time away.
“He is out there on the training field straight line running and that will be really positive for his mindset.”
The Owls resume their Championship campaign at Huddersfield in the live Sky TV clash on Saturday 22 September (12.15pm).
