- Scottish striker speaks on S6 transition
- Owls host Wigan on Saturday
Stevie May says he feels better and stronger with each passing game as he continues to manage the transition from Scotland to England.
The striker joined the Owls from St Johnstone in the summer and is the first to acknowledge the differences between the SPL and the Championship.
But May is confident that once the process of change is complete, the goals will flow south of the border.
He told swfc.co.uk: “There is a difference between any divisions when you move as a player. The pace of the game is quicker in the Championship and the game is more physical.
“Another big difference is the quality of the pitches and that makes a difference.
“The important thing is to make progress with every game and I feel I am doing that.
“I haven’t scored as many goals as I would have liked but I think we have been unlucky recently and once that changes, I am confident the goals will come.”
