Cameron Dawson is enjoying his loan spell with Alfreton Town as the young Owls’ goalkeeper continues to build his match experience.
Dawson’s temporary stint with the Conference Premier side runs until 22 November, at which point all parties concerned will assess the situation.
Dawson said: “We’ll have to see what happens. I’m enjoying playing every week and that’s what I need at this stage of my career.
“I just want to carry on playing games wherever that may be.”
Should the teenager return to Hillsborough, he will resume a healthy rivalry with keeper consort Joe Wildmith, who is currently on England Under-20 international duty.
He added: “It’s really good that Joe has been noticed on the international scene.
“There is great competition between Joe and I. We have come through all the age groups in the academy together.
It's good that Joe and I get on well, as we all do in the goalkeeping department here as we all train hard and push each other on.”
