The Owls’ Development Squad face Middlesbrough tomorrow at Middlewood Road and supporters are welcome to attend the friendly encounter.
Following a narrow defeat to a strong Burnley side last week, Lee Bullen has confirmed Wednesday may well use the fixture to give returning first team players minutes under their belt.
Lewis Buxton and Kamil Zayatte could play a part as they step up their return to fitness.
Meanwhile, Caolan Lavery has today told swfc.co.uk he too is hoping to feature.

Bullen said: “Whether they get 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes, it can only benefit them in their bid to return.
“For the Under-21 lads, we want them to play as many games as possible so these friendly games serve more than one purpose.”
