- No game for Wednesday but hard work continues
- FA Cup game on horizon
- Owls to host Stoke at Hillsborough
The Owls’ Under-18s have been hard at work during the blank weekend.
The academy boys’ schedule may have eased fixture wise given the latest break but training has remained at a high tempo ahead of the busy weeks ahead that include an appealing cup-tie against top flight opposition.
Coach Steven Haslam told swfc.co.uk: “We've had a free weekend but the players have been worked hard in training as we prepare for our next run of fixtures.
“The lads are excited about the FA Youth Cup which begins for us next month and the fixture at home to Stoke City gives the boys the opportunity to play against Premier League opposition and to showcase their talents on a bigger stage.”
