The Owls will be without Royston Drenthe on Saturday after the loan ace was sent off in midweek.
Drenthe will serve his one-match ban as Wednesday host Rotherham.
Elsewhere, Stuart Gray is expecting Lewis Buxton (knee) and Kamil Zayatte (hamstring) to be back available for selection after the international break.
Caolan Lavery is making good progress from his cruciate knee injury in pre-season, though Gray is not putting a timescale on the forward’s return.
For this weekend’s visitors, the Millers will assess the condition of Icelandic international Kari Arnason.
The former Plymouth defender injured his toe during Rotherham’s 3-0 defeat to Reading in midweek.
