Owls goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith was an unused substitute for the England Under-20s on Wednesday evening during the 2-2 draw with Canada.
Wildsmith was selected in Aidy Boothroyd’s 22-man squad for the second time this season, having travelled to Holland for the Four Nation Tournament in October.
The Under-20s will now fly out to face Portugal on Monday 17 November at The Estadio Municipal Sergio Conceicao.
The Three Lions were pegged back in stoppage time at The Goldsands Stadium after goals from Chuba Akpom and Baily Cargill had put Boothroyd’s men in front.
