Owls goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland’s 36-man provisional squad.
The Irish face a double-header against Scotland and the USA during the international break but Westwood has been ruled out due to a minor hip injury.
The former Sunderland man has enjoyed a terrific start to the campaign at Hillsborough and his performances have been recognised on all fronts.
The custodian was voted as the swfc.co.uk Player of the Month for September and October and recorded his eighth clean sheet in the Championship last time out against Rotherham.
