Former Owls defender Miguel Llera has returned to Hillsborough in a coaching capacity with the academy.
The popular Spaniard is spending time with the Youth Development Phase youngsters in themed practises and training.
Llera is a fully qualified UEFA Coach with additional coaching qualifications and is pictured below with the current Under-13s.
Academy manager Dean Ramsdale said: “Miguel is a quality coach, giving us further experience and knowledge in providing our academy players with the best possible coaching available.
“Just as important is the fact that he kids really respond to Miguel, he has a very natural way with them and that is a big positive for the academy.”
Llera, who made 91 senior appearances for Wednesday, joined Scunthorpe last summer.
He signed a one-year contract for the Iron and has made 11 starts so far this season.
