Owls coach pleased with Llera return

12 November 2014

  • Miguel Llera appointed as academy coach
  • Familiar ground for ex-Owls defender
  • Youngsters buying in says Lee Bullen

Lee Bullen has spoken of the benefits of installing Miguel Llera in a coaching capacity in the Owls’ academy.

The former Wednesday favourite has taken a role at Middlewood Road working specifically with the young Owls, who have already bought into the values Llera will bring.

Coach Bullen said: “Apart from the fact that Miguel is a fully qualified coach, the boys love working with someone who is very current.

“Because he is still playing the game and because he played for the club so recently, we have seen a massive buy-in to that.”

Academy manager Dean Ramsdale added: “Miguel is a quality coach, giving us further experience and knowledge in providing our academy players with the best possible coaching available.

“Just as important is the fact that the kids really respond to Miguel, he has a very natural way with them and that is a big positive for the academy.”
