Jose Semedo will sit out the Owls’ visit to Blackburn in the Championship next Saturday, 6 December.
The combative midfielder picked up his fifth booking of the season during the home game against Wigan this weekend and will serve a mandatory one-match ban as a result.
Semedo has made 19 appearances for Wednesday this term so far.
