The goals will come

22 November 2014

Stuart Gray was pleased with another clean sheet but stressed the need for goals at the other end of the pitch.

The Owls posted their eleventh shutout of the season at Huddersfield but also drew a blank in terms of conversions.

But the head coach is confident the goals will come:

“I’ve just said to the players that they have to keep on doing what they are doing and it will happen.

“Full credit to them for that second half performance because we dominated possession and created chances.

“I can’t remember seeing too many incidents like the one such as Stevie May has hit the bar and the post with the same shot.

“Then we’ve had a stonewall penalty turned down but that’s the way things seem to be going for us right now, we’re not getting the rub of the green.”
