Owls goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith has been forced to withdraw from England duty with an ankle injury.
Wildsmith has suffered ankle ligament damage and an early prognosis has confirmed a possible absence of six to eight weeks.
The blow for the Owls goalkeeper means he will now miss out on tonight’s clash with Portugal.
Owls head physio Paul Smith said: “Joe was making a routine save to his right and unfortunately he caught his studs in the turf and went over on his ankle.”
