Refreshed from the international break, Jacques Maghoma is ready to kick on as the Owls host Watford this Saturday.
The winger has featured in every game this season and is looking forward to the weekend as Wednesday resume their 2014/15 campaign.
“We’ve been back all week and are ready to go against Watford,” the former Burton man said.
“It’s always nice to get a break but I miss playing. Waking up on a Saturday without a game feels strange.”
The 26-year-old has seen an improvement as the season has progressed.
And the key thing now, according to Maghoma, is that Wednesday move forward and continue to add points to the tally.
He said: “We’ve started the season well and carried it on.
“We had eight points in the first international break and added another nine by the time we reached the second, so that is an improvement.
“We’re not that far off the teams ahead of us. There are just a few points in it, so we need to keep picking up as many points as we can.
“Watford are a very good side and different from last year. But hopefully this Saturday, we can grab all three points.
“The Championship is tough but I think we‘re proving people wrong at the moment and we want to remain as high up the table as we can.”
