Owls extend Twitter feed

As the Owls’ lines of communication continue to grow, the club has introduced two additional strands to its official Twitter feed.

The emphasis centres on the key avenues of ticketing and commercial, which in turn will allow the Owls’ primary Twitter account to focus on the football.

@swfcTICKETS and @swfcCOMMERCIAL are now live and active, enabling supporters to engage with the club relative to the ticketing and corporate hospitality arm of Sheffield Wednesday.

The Owls’ Director of Communications Trevor Braithwait said: “The online presence of the club continues to grow by the day – locally, nationally and globally.

“Each of our social media and digital platforms are reviewed constantly as we seek to increase our engagement across the board.

“Separating the ticketing and commercial strand of the Twitter feed will allow our supporters and clients to interact on a more specific basis.”
