Winger Royston Drenthe is pushing for his maiden start for the Owls.
The former Real Madrid star has made six appearances from the substitutes’ bench since signing on loan from Reading over the summer.
Having impressed in his cameo roles, Drenthe is now pressing for a maiden starting shirt.
Head coach Stuart Gray said: “When Royston first came to the club, he had not played any football or had a proper pre-season.
“He can give us that little bit of quality but he’s been used as an impact player.
“Royston has to transfer what he does at the training ground to a match situation.
“He will come into my thoughts but it’s not just him. There are other players as well.”
