Going into the weekend's fixtures, the Owls were top of the league in terms of away support with an average of 2,105 following Wednesday up and down the country.

From Wednesday’s six games on the road, the average gate has been 19,949, a figure which places the Owls top of the pile, ahead of Derby and Bolton in second and third.
