The in-form Under-18s headed south on Friday in preparation for this weekend’s league contest at Colchester.
The Owls are in search of their fourth consecutive victory having beaten Ipswich, Charlton and Crystal Palace.
Coach Steven Haslam said: “The players are full of confidence at the moment and we are looking forward to getting out on the pitch again tomorrow.
“The trip is a good experience for the players, spending time together on the road has brought them closer as a group and it gives them a taste of what first team players do in preparation for away games.”
Wednesday have also posted four successive clean sheets, with defender Brad Beatson saying:
“Over the past few weeks we've been a lot better and a lot more solid at the back and it feels good when you get the wins with a clean sheet."
