Owls striker Atdhe Nuhiu has been crowned as the swfc.co.uk August Player of the Month.
The towering frontman has scooped the award with over 50 per cent of the vote after a strong start to the new campaign.
Nuhiu got off the mark in the Owls’ Capital One Cup-tie against Notts County at Hillsborough and went on to hit a brace in the 3-2 win over Middlesbrough at The Riverside.
The 25-year-old extended his purple patch at Turf Moor by scoring the winning goal from the penalty spot to secure Wednesday’s place in round three of the League Cup.
