Former Wednesday striker Mark Bright certainly delved into his Hillsborough past when selecting his all-time top team for Sky Sport’s popular Fantasy Football Club.
Bright selected no less than seven former Owls in his dream team for the show that aired last weekend.
In goal was Chris Woods, who was picked behind Dan Petrescu, Roland Nilsson and Des Walker in the rearguard.
Then came Chris Waddle and John Sheridan, naturally, in the engine room.
And what team with a blue and white flavour would be complete without David Hirst leading the line?
Showing natural modesty, Brighty refrained from choosing himself, although he would have been perfectly entitled to given his return of 167 goals in 463 appearances from a near two-decade career (including a particularly special one below).
For the record, Andy Thorn, Andy Gray, John Barnes and Ian Wright made up Mark’s final fantasy team.
