Busy week for Wednesday!

26 September 2014

The Owls’ clash with Cardiff on Saturday kick-starts a busy week for Wednesday.

Stuart Gray’s men are preparing for three Sky Bet Championship fixtures in seven days.

First up is a trip to the Welsh capital this weekend before the Owls return to home soil on Tuesday to face Ipswich Town.

The Championship encounter with the Tractor Boys will be Wednesday’s final game at Hillsborough before the international break, with the next S6 clash on Saturday 18 October with Watford.

Remember, the club are promoting a special Family Ticket offer for the Hornets fixture where significant savings can be made, for full details CLICK HERE.

Following on from victory over Reading in front of almost 30,000 Wednesdayites last week, the Owls will be out to build on that home success and tickets for this game are now on general sale.

Tickets can be purchased via the Owls’ online shop, over the phone on 0871 900 1867 and at the Owls Ticket Office at the stadium.

Wednesday then travel to Yorkshire rivals Leeds on Saturday 4 October (12.15pm) and Owls head coach Gray said:

“It’s a busy period for my players with so many games. I think we will have played seven games in 21 days but we’ve got a fit bunch, they’re playing well and riding high in the Championship.

“When you put those two factors together, the games can’t come quick enough and we look forward to the challenges.”
