Neil Thompson was pleased with the performance of a young Owls side against Brentford on Tuesday.
The Professional Development League 2 clash took place in the capital and finished 1-1, with defender Matt Penney on target for Wednesday.
And coach Thompson took pride in a resolute display featuring a raft of academy scholars.
He told swfc.co.uk: “It was a really positive performance and a good experience for the younger lads.
“We had seven scholars out there so credit goes to them for performing well against a Brentford team that contained senior players.
“They did their jobs, dug in and I was pleased for them that they got something out of the game.
“I wouldn’t like to pick one player out because it was a strong team performance.”
The Development Squad are next in action on Sunday against Bristol City at Middlewood Road.
