The official charity partner for this evening’s game is The White Rose Epilepsy Group and Sheffield Wednesday are proud to support the organisation to raise funds, awareness and its profile.
The charity was set up to educate people of what the condition actually is and not to be scared if someone has a seizure around them.
Founder Donna Bird, said: “We are so grateful for the support from Sheffield Wednesday and we can’t thank them enough for giving us the opportunity to profile White Rose.
“Epilepsy is often a word people are afraid of hearing never mind talking about but I’m trying to educate more people about the condition so people know how to react if people have one. Thanks again to everyone at the club.”
The support group are now raising money by selling White Rose merchandise such as mugs, key rings, wristbands and bags.
