Owls boss Stuart Gray paid a special visit to Sheffield Wednesday supporters group, The Wise Old Owls, this afternoon.
He went along to the group’s regular Wednesday afternoon meeting where he talked about the squad’s excellent start to the 2014/15 campaign and what he hopes his team can achieve for the rest of the season.
Stuart, who was joined by Wednesday coach John Deehan, also shared some of his early experiences of football both from his playing days and his early years of managing and coaching.
The support group, Sheffield Wednesday's over 50s luncheon network, currently has more than 250 members.
Consisting of both Season Ticket Holders and non-Season Ticket Holders, the group meet every third Wednesday of the month, normally in the 1867 Lounge, from around 11:15am for a two-course lunch at 12:30pm.
The group also go on day trips, holidays and occasional hospitality trips to away games and organise special Christmas parties.
