The Owls’ Under-18s posted a creditable point in the capital on Saturday, drawing 0-0 at Millwall.
It was a resolute performance from Wednesday in a game of few chances.
And coach Steve Haslam was particularly pleased with his defence against the Lions.
He said: “The players showed great commitment and desire to put in a solid display and it was pleasing to keep a clean sheet on the back of the defensive work we have done in the last couple of weeks.
“We would have liked to have been more composed in possession but at the back we were a solid unit.
“The application and attitude of the lads was first class and the togetherness of the group evident throughout the game.”
