Stevie May set for Luxembourg clash

Stevie May is set to extend his international pedigree on Monday when the Scotland Under-21s take on Luxembourg in Differdange.

The contest is the Scots’ final fixture of the group stage for Euro 2015 qualification.

However, a 1-1 draw with Slovakia last Thursday extinguished Scottish ambitions of making the cut.

May impressed during that game in Senec and the Wednesday striker hopes to earn his eighth cap against Luxembourg.

The 21-year-old then returns home to prepare for the Owls’ visit to Bolton on Saturday, when May will be out build on his promising domestic start at Hillsborough.
