- Kamil Zayatte skippers Guinea
- But Uganda win Africa Cup of Nations clash
- Zayatte posts 46th cap
Kamil Zayatte was on international duty for Guinea on Wednesday evening but could not help prevent a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Uganda.
The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier took place at The Mandela National Stadium in Namobole.
A brace from South African-based Geoffrey Massa was the difference between the teams on the night.
Uganda leapfrogged Guinea to go top of Group E as a result.
Zayatte now flies back to England in time for the Owls’ Championship trip to Bolton on Saturday.
The centre half faces a battle for a starting shirt with new recruit Claude Dielna at The Macron Stadium given the absence of Glenn Loovens through suspension.
