Caolan Lavery has said the squad are firmly focused on the five remaining fixtures of the 2015/16 season.
Wednesday enter the home straight with an S6 clash against Charlton before having to negotiate tough tests against promotion-chasing trio Bournemouth, Brentford and Watford.
On top of that, the Owls will also host Yorkshire rivals Leeds later this month so Lavery insists Wednesday must be at their best.
He said: “We have five games left and we want to get maximum points. None of us are thinking about the summer break.
“We want to show everyone the strides we have made forward this year.
“We can still have a big say on what happens at the top of the table so every game is important to us.”
The striker was disappointed with the Easter Monday defeat at Norwich but is keen to bounce back on Saturday with the Addicks in town.
He added: “For one reason or another, we couldn’t get a foothold in the game. At the end of the day, we are professionals and go out there to give all we’ve got every match.
“That’s what we want to do on Saturday in front of our supporters at home.”
