Joe Mattock is expected to miss the remainder of the campaign after picking up a groin injury in training.
The left back definitely sits out Saturday’s home game with Charlton and is a doubt for the four fixtures that follow.
Head coach Stuart Gray said: “Joe has pulled his groin today and it’s not looking good for the boy….he will probably miss the rest of the season.
“I think it’s more of a fatigue injury. We had two games in three days over Easter and Joe has been unfortunate.
“Fortunately, Jeremy Helan is back and he will be available for the Charlton game on Saturday.”
