Sheffield Wednesday can confirm there will be no sales on the turnstiles for Saturday’s final home game of the season against Leeds.
This measure has been taken following consultation with South Yorkshire Police.
Tickets can still be purchased on the day from the Ticket Office or the Sheffield Wednesday Online Shop up until kick-off (12.30pm).
Prior to that, supporters are urged to buy in advance and avoid the anticipated queues in the Ticket Office on Saturday morning or where possible to select the e-ticket print at home option.
All supporters purchasing tickets for this fixture must have been on the SWFC database prior to March 2015.
The Ticket Office is open from 9.00am to 5.00am on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and from 9.00am until kick-off on Saturday.
Alternatively, supporters can make buy their tickets by telephone on 0871 900 1867 (£2 booking fee per ticket).
Ticket sales currently stand around 25,000 for the Yorkshire derby and an electric atmosphere is expected for the Owls’ Hillsborough finale.
