Stuart Gray says there are three big remaining games for the Owls to negotiate and that the players are chomping at the bit.
With the likes of Chris Maguire, Sergiu Bus and Atdhe Nuhiu all pushing for a recall, Gray could make changes for this weekend’s trip to Bournemouth.
Lewis McGugan and Sam Hutchinson have both been suffering with a virus and will be assessed ahead of the fixture.
Though Filipe Melo will be aiming to keep his shirt after an impressive maiden appearance at Hillsborough that saw the combative midfielder collect the Man of the Match awards in the clash with Brentford.
Gray said: “Sam and Lewis have viruses so we will leave it as late as possible.
“We have a big part to play and will have a big say. We did so on Tuesday and that’s how I want us to perform. I always prepare my team to get a result.
“All the players are chomping at the bit and wanting to play. We have got three great games left.”
