As the build-up to Saturday’s Championship clash with Ipswich continue, Sheffield Wednesday welcomed Mark Clemmit and co. from BBC’s Football Focus show on Thursday at Middlewood Road.
As well as carrying out his regular media duties ahead of a Sky Bet Championship fixture, Carlos Carvalhal spoke in depth to Football Focus following the conclusion of Thursday’s training session.
The discussions ranged from Carlos’ past experiences as head coach, to the chain of events that led to him landing at Hillsborough and of course, the strong start to the new term and optimism in S6.
The BBC presenter also spoke with Owls duo Liam Palmer and Jose Semedo, the latter of which saw the visit as an omen, having not seen Clem since the promotion winning season of 2011/12!
The long-standing popular football programme, presented by Dan Walker, will feature the Owls this weekend from Saturday on BBC 1 at 12.15pm.
