The Owls’ Under-18s posted an impressive three points on their first away day of the new campaign.
Wednesday won 3-1 at Bristol City in midweek having come from behind to topple the South West side.
The visitors conceded an early goal but hit back with strikes from George Hirst, Fraser Preston and Jonatas Centeno.
Coach Steven Haslam told swfc.co.uk: “"I thought we were below par in the first half, our decision making was inconsistent and we struggled to find any rhythm to our game.
“The half time team talk was all about urging the players to play with greater intensity with and without the ball and to show more composure in possession.
“Credit to the players, though, as they responded superbly in the second half, we got closer to the opposition and showed the required quality in our passing game.
“Our attacking players really came to the fore in the second period and we scored some good goals through Hirst, Preston and Centeno to give us a deserved victory."
