Carlos Carvalhal has confirmed Keiren Westwood will miss the midweek Sky Bet Championship clash with Reading.
The Owls number one was withdrawn from action early at Portman Road on Saturday through injury and replaced by Joe Wildsmith.
The unwelcomed news is softened somewhat by Carvalhal’s confidence in the custodians at the club and he said:
“Westwood is out of the game that is absolutely sure.
“He will be missing for this game and then we will do our re-evaluation after that.
“Of course Westwood is a fantastic goalkeeper but at the same time, Joe did very good in all the matches.
“We have four goalkeepers and we are very happy with them.
“I don’t feel any problem about that position and all of them give me confidence.”
