Sheffield Wednesday Football Club would like to confirm that Glenn Roeder has today left the employment of the club.

Chairman Dejphon Chansiri commented: "I have enjoyed working with Glenn and his football knowledge has been extremely helpful.
"As I have stated previously, I will continue to make the difficult decisions in the best interest of the club. The committee will continue to evolve, I therefore need to ensure it is populated with the best mix of expert advisors available to me which will result in periodical changes in personnel as the club progresses.
"I am confident that along with my network of trusted advisors the committee will continue to build on the success I believe we have already achieved as we approach the January transfer window.”
