As the Championship campaign progresses, the most important factor for Carlos Carvalhal is striking the right balance.
The head coach insists it is vital to remain level-headed throughout the campaign; win, lose or draw.
Wednesday posted a fantastic victory over Wolves on Sunday and moved back to within a point of the top six.
But the head coach says it’s important to keep balanced and continue with the team work that brought about another maximum haul at Hillsborough over the weekend.
“The most important in this competition is the balance,” he said.
“If you are balanced and don’t be under pressure when you lose and don’t be euphoric when you win, then you can do a good challenge.
“If you win two or three matches and after, everybody thinks that we are the best team in the world and we can’t lose against anybody;
“Or if we lose one game and we are the worst team in the world, this is not good.
“But if you understand that we have a good team and if we act like a team we can do what we did against Wolves.”
Wednesday will conclude 2015 with tough games against Birmingham on Boxing Day and league leaders Middlesbrough on Monday 28 December.
