Sheffield Wednesday have been boosted by the return to fitness of Michael Turner.
The defender – on a season-long loan from Norwich – has been sidelined with a knee injury.
But the experienced stopper has returned to training and head coach Carlos Carvalhal has confirmed he will be available for the trip to Cardiff.
“I want to be positive and talk about the players that are available because we must give confidence to the players who are playing,” Carlos said.
“Last week they all did absolutely fantastic and we missed a lot of players in the last game.
“But we have recovered Turner since last week so we are better this week than we was in the last, so we are optimistic and positive.
“Turner is an important player of course, he is one more player who is fit so it means that we are stronger with more options than last week which is good.”
