The charity partner for today’s game is the ‘NHS Blood and Transplant’ organisation and Sheffield Wednesday are supporting their campaign to get more organ donors on the organ donation register.
Sheffield Wednesday is supporting their latest campaign, ‘Sign For Life’, and is encouraging fans and their friends and family to sign up to the register.
Three people die every day in need of an organ and there are currently around 7,000 people on the waiting list.
A single organ donor can transform the lives of up to nine people. So the more people signed up to the register, more lives could be saved.
