The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme are holding a collection of Soccer Camps over the half-term holiday!
The camp runs from Monday 16 February to Friday 20 February, between 9:00am – 4:00pm and are facilitated by expert coaching staff from the club’s community programme to teach children, both boys and girls, aged five – 14 to develop skills, technique and standard of play.
The Community Programme hosts camps every school holidays and they’re a great introduction to playing or a way to progress.
The camps take place at the club’s Middlewood training ground in Hillsborough and at Retford Oaks High School.
There will also be chances to win prizes and an opportunity to progress onto the development centre.
The sessions are a great way to gain confidence in the game and also let the aspiring footballers make new friends and build confidence.
Owls midfielder Giles Coke’s football talents were first noticed after attending his local holiday Soccer Camps and encourages future players go along and do the same.
