North Stand occupants will be asked to help pay a special tribute to Milan Mandaric at Hillsborough on Saturday.
The outgoing chairman is set to address the crowd before kick-off and the club are asking all supporters in the North Stand to stand and hold up cards, placed on the seats, to spell out ‘Xbana Milan’.
The visual spectacle will form part of what Wednesdayites have tagged ‘Thanks To Milan Day’ as the Wednesday chief bids farewell to Hillsborough.
The Owls have also dedicated the front cover of the matchday programme to Milan, who will be stepping down from his position having agreed to sell the club to Thai businessman Dejphon Chansiri.
