The Owls’ Under-18s have secured a glamorous friendly this weekend in the absence of a league fixture.
Wednesday will take on Swedish outfit IFK Gothenburg at Middlewood Road (12 noon) and all supporter are welcome to attend – entrance is free.
Coach Steven Haslam told swfc.co.uk: “We have no league fixture tomorrow but have arranged a game against IFK Gothenburg, who are in the UK on a training camp.
“It’s our first home fixture in quite some time given the winter weather but the lads are in decent nick at the moment and we’ll be looking to continue our good form of late.
“The game will also give us a chance to field some of the Under-16 players who will be joining the club in July on full time scholarships.”
