Owls midfielder Jose Semedo will undergo a fitness test ahead of the clash with Ipswich on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old missed Monday’s training session before the squad travelled down to Portman Road.
A reoccurrence of a toe infection that left the midfielder doubtful for Saturday against Cardiff has disrupted the midfielder’s preparation for Tuesday night in Suffolk.
Gray said: “Semedo has had a problem with his toe infection and there is swelling in that region so he hasn’t trained but apart from that, everyone else is ok.
“We let Semi have a fitness test on Saturday morning and he came through it but we had already done the planning and preparation, so Semi went on the bench.
“I thought he was excellent when he came on so we will have another fitness test on him tomorrow.”
