This Saturday’s home game with Cardiff will be the first in S6 since news broke of the takeover agreement between Milan Mandaric and Dejphon Chansiri.
Wednesdayites have taken to social media to mark the Championship clash as a ‘Thank You Milan Day’ and the club can confirm the chairman will be addressing supporters on the pitch prior to kick-off.
Consequently, the Owls are asking fans to ensure they are seated by 2.45pm in order to show their support to Milan.
SWFC will be dedicating the front cover of the matchday programme to the chairman, who will also write an exclusive column for this edition – which could be the final notes he pens.
Saturday also promises to be an exciting occasion on the pitch as the four new recruits snapped up on transfer deadline day may be in contention against the Bluebirds.
The Owls are pleased to report a significant spike in ticket sales given recent events and supporters are advised to book their seats in advance to avoid queues on the day.
