Aspiring young footballers enjoyed a festive themed Soccer Camp at Sheffield Wednesday’s training ground to help kick-start their Christmas holidays.
The two day camp ran during the Christmas week and was facilitated by expert coaching staff from the club’s community programme to teach children, both boys and girls, aged five – 14 to develop skills, technique and standard of play.
As well as the camps the children got to enjoy a party that included a visit from Santa and Ollie Owl, food and drinks, games and prizes, DJ and a disco!
The sessions, that run every school holidays, are a great way to gain confidence in the game and also let the aspiring footballers make new friends and build confidence – with a chance to progress on to Wednesday’s development centre.
