Today saw Owls star Joe Mattock visit a Sheffield Primary School to share his expertise with school children aged nine – 11.
Owls left back Joe Mattock went along to Hillsborough Primary School where he joined in with their multi-skills activity workshop, conducted a question and answer session and wished Year Six pupils good luck in their SATS exams.
The Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme hold activity sessions at the school every week and as a special treat Joe went in to help out!
Steve Taylor, Community Officer at Sheffield Wednesday, said: “Joe was fantastic and all the kids had a great time. They all asked really good questions and Joe took his time to make sure all the questions were answered.
“The Community Programme works with many schools in South Yorkshire and it’s always good to get a first team player to talk to the children directly. Thanks again to Joe and to the school for making the visit happen.”
