- Mani Dieseruvwe joins Chesterfield
- Young striker pens youth loan deal
- 19-year-old joins the Spireites in fine goal-scoring form
Young Owls striker Mani Dieseruvwe has joined League 1 side Chesterfield on a youth loan deal.
The 19-year-old has been in hot form for the Owls Under-21s and now links up with the Spireites to gain valuable first team experience.
The forward has enjoyed previous loan spells with Hyde and Fleetwood during the 2013/14 campaign.
He told swfc.co.uk: “The Chesterfield move has come around quickly but that’s what happens in football.
“It’s a big chance and another step up for me. It’s one thing scoring for the Under-21s but this is a big step up and I can’t wait to start.
“If I can get in and around the team and get a few goals that would be great. I’m delighted to get a league club and it will be a great experience for me and that’s what I need.
“Chesterfield are pushing for promotion and are in touching distance of the play-offs and it would be good to be apart of their successful season.”
