Royston Drenthe has returned to parent club Reading following the expiry of his loan contract with Sheffield Wednesday.
Drenthe joined the Owls on a temporary basis in September and made seven starts, plus a further eight appearances from the bench, scoring once.
The Owls made a request to Reading with regards to extending the loan, but his future is yet to be decided.
Sheffield Wednesday would like to thank Royston for his services and wish him well for the future.
