Sheffield Wednesday legend, Carlton Palmer, has signed up to Cavendish Cancer Care’s 'Change 4 Cav campaign', vowing to give up alcohol for January.
Cavendish Cancer Care is a Sheffield charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer in South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.
The charity’s services are provided free of charge and it relies on the donations from supporters and help from volunteers to continue its work.
Carlton’s wife is also getting involved in his charity venture and hopes to raise as much money and awareness for the organisation as possible.
