Stuart Gray has underlined his gratitude for the Owls’ outstanding support this season.
The travelling hordes were again in fine voice at The City Ground this weekend as Wednesday were rewarded for a dominant display with all three points.
And Gray was swift to point out the impact of the supporters off the pitch together with the players on it.
He said: “I’ve said and before and I will continue to say it that I can’t thank them enough for what they do for us.
“The players get such a massive boost through our support, which I am sure is the envy of many managers.
“Opposition clubs must love it too when Sheffield Wednesday come to town because of the numbers we bring.
“They do their job off the pitch and ours is on the pitch and nothing pleases me more when they go home happy and rewarded.
“They have followed us all over the country away and show such strong numbers at home. I can only say thank you again.”
